SystemNOTE allows you to put up a message (which appears in a dialog box) during system startup (when the Welcome To Macintosh/Mac OS dialog box appears). To setup a message: click on the 'SystemNOTE on' radio button then click on the 'Set Message...' button. Type in your new message and click 'OK'. To display the SystemNOTE icon at system startup with your message click on the 'Display icon at startup' check box. To disable SystemNOTE click on the 'SystemNOTE off' radio button. There have been reported problems with SystemNOTE turning on even though the 'SystemNOTE off' radio button is checked. This will be remedied in a future version but until then if you have a problem then just pull SystemNOTE out of the system folder. Send me an e-mail if you do have this problem. This program has been tested out on a Mac Classic and a PowerMac 6100/60.
